A noun is the name of a person, place or thing!There are five types of noun!Firstly we have: Proper NounsSecondly we have: Common NounsThirdly we have: Abstract NounsFourthly we have: Collective NounsFinally we have: Pronouns
Proper nouns are the names we give to individual people or places. They have a capital letter.Examples include: Paris, France and Oliver
Common Nouns are the names of objects we have lots of. Examples include: chair, table and school.
Abstract Nouns describe feelings and emotions. They are things we can t physically touch or see but we understand what they are. Examples include: love, evil and happ
Collective Nouns describe a group.Examples include: team, crowd and class
Pronouns are the words we use instead of names to describe a person.Examples include: I, me and they.
