One of the most important things you need to know when it comes to Pie chart is how to measure angles and angles in a circle, using protractor. You have to never forget that when measuring left to right you use the outer scale, while when measuring right to left you use the inner scale.
The name of the pie chart comes from the fact that it looks a bit like a pie. It is a circle with different sized slices "cut out" from the middle to the edge. Interesting fact is that French people use two words for pie charts and one of them is camembert.
Pied charts are used to represent data. There are some steps we can follow when we are solving that type of questions:1) Calculate the total, if it is not already calculated.2) Divide 360 by the total so you can get the coefficient3) When you have already done that, do not forget to go back and multiply by the given number, so you can get the measurements of the angles.4) Check - if the angles do not add up to 360, you made a mistake. (As every circle contains 360 degrees)
