How To Start A Story

Peering through the grimy windows, you can see a room filled with wooden benches on which stand countless glass beakers and phials and tubes full of different-coloured liquids boiling and steaming and bubbling away. The vapour curls up and around the room almost with purpose as though it is trying to hide the illicit experiments that are being conducted. On the walls, there are posters and notes with complicated formulae scrawled illegibly all over them like spells or curses written in an ancient, indecipherable language.
