Rewrite this passage into an interesting piece of text.

People say it is bad to be out walking because of the pandemic. But it is a nice day today and people say it is nice to go walking. The authorities say it is nice to see people but we must walk away so we do not get too close. Otherwise, we may breathe in the bad air that can make us feel bad. Little children forget to walk away because they feel nice seeing their friends. Their mothers say to their kids be careful . They walk away from their nice chats to get their bad kids away. Tomorrow, the weather will be bad. No one will feel nice about going out. They will say that it is a blessing in disguise. Anyone out and about will walk home quickly to avoid the bad rain. The weatherman says there may be bad thunderstorms. Things are bad now. But soon all will be nice again.

Below is a suggested answer:

Roaming the streets during the pandemic is certainly frowned upon and perpetrators are harshly castigated by their more compliant neighbours. Today s splendid sunshine is devastatingly seductive, tempting people to throw caution to the wind and conspire to go outdoors for a hike in the countryside or a stroll on the beach.

While the authorities acknowledge that people desire social contact, they advise the public to maintain an uncharacteristic distance when encountering others. They emphasise the importance of this seemingly abnormal behaviour by highlighting the lethal, if not fatal, consequences of contact with infectious droplets in the air.

Excited at seeing their friends, little children may forget the rules of keeping their distance and scamper towards one another despite their mothers desperate pleas to be careful . Their mothers often feel compelled to scuttle from their own cosy chit-chats with their neighbours to ensure their children do not inadvertently get too close to one another.

Tomorrow, the weather will be disappointing. No one will feel any naughty desire to ramble or wander outdoors. We will console ourselves with pathetic platitudes like it is a blessing in disguise , dashing home to escape the wet and discouraging weather. The weatherman predicts ominous thunderstorms which seem to reflect the perilous situation we have found ourselves. To survive, we comfort ourselves with the puny delusion that very soon our lives will be infinitely happier and normal once again.
