Self Motivation is key in succeeding whatever you do. Therefore I have created a list of my top 5 points to motivate you.

1. Remember that checklist?Have a journal or diary. Something you can tick off regularly as you complete a task. This will not only help you stay organised but also motivate you to complete more. It`s a physical copy of your accomplishment. You achieved so much already, there`s no reason why you can`t achieve more. Your journal is your proof of your previous success.
2. Reward yourself materially as well.No one is going to say no to a reward or a prize. If anything it will push you harder in making sure you achieve it. So why not, set yourself a reward if you achieve your targets? At your end of year award ceremony, you achieve the best worker award. Surely next year, you`d want to win that again right? It doesn`t have to be extravagant and neither do you need to spend big money on it. As long as it`s something you want or need, you will be more than satisfied.
3. Think of the last time you worked against all odds and won.This is similar to point one. In fact, you could use point one to help you remember of that time you won against all odds. We`re all humans and sometimes we just need that little reminding of how great we really are. Hence why reminding our self of this very moment will only remind us of our capabilities of overachieving and succeeding. lt;/span>
4. Aim to be better and not perfect.No one is perfect. It is such a cliche phrase that you will hear numerous times throughout your life. At school, university and even while working. No one is perfect. Not even computers. They even have days were they don`t work or something goes wrong. As long as we have improved than the day before, then we have succeeded. Improving everyday will still never get us to a stage of perfection because perfection is subjective and varies person to person. Therefore we are better off improving day by day and being the best in what we do.
5. Relax and take time off.Relaxing and taking time off will energize you and remind you of why you started doing whatever you are doing in the first place. It will bring you back with a fresh clear mind, motivated, ambitious and hungry to achieve the goals you have set yourself. Take a day off, away from the desk, away from your computer, go on a little break and come back refreshed.
