Descri ption of a secret garden - what features can you spot?
Date : 15/01/2018
High
up in the Himalayas and far away from the reach of man lies a special place in
my hear the most incredible place you could ever wish to see. & A lavish garden, surrounded by towering
trees and protected by a vast moat as deep as the Atlantic, sits waiting in secret
seclusion. Only I can guide you once inside, so I have one question: can you
keep a secret? As
you walk through the old stone archway, which leads into a clearing, you will
notice the curved, cobbled pathway adorned with the finest selection of fragrant
flowers. Inhale the summer scent of the lovely lavender or breathe in the
refreshing aroma of the luscious lilies. In and out, in and out. The birds,
which peacefully gaze down from the treetops, sing a gentle lullaby to relax
you upon your arrival. Birch, oak and willow: just a few examples of the trees
that grow in my secret space. If
you feel hungry, you can pick a vast array of fruit from the tantalising
selection on offer. With apples as red as the roses, oranges like footballs and
pears that melt in your mouth, there really is no shortage in choice for
delicious food for you to snack on. Although the fruit is tempting, make sure
you save room for a drink from the chocolate fountain, which is the heart of
the garden. It pumps chocolate goodness through the streams like veins around
your body, nourishing everything in this magical world. Feeling
hot in the beaming sunshine? Why not rest on the terrace with the silent
statues keeping watch. Whilst you rest on the wooden island, take in the
wonderful wildlife in the garden& it is as diverse as the Amazon. The towering
trees are home to scurrying squirrels and birds as colourful as a rainbow. Look
up above you did you see that? Keep watching and I assure you, it will blow
your mind. Carefully watch your feet you will find rabbits leaping in the long
grass and friendly insects surfing a sea of daisies. Ready to see more? Walk
along the stream until you reach the giant red wood. Beyond this giant tree is
where the gnomes live. The gnomes, who keep guard of this wonderland at night,
will guide you through the dark forest. Once
you are through the forest and out the other side, your tour is nearly at its
end. Walk through the trees and back to the clearing where
you will see the animals gathering to say goodbye. A single raindrop falls from
the sky like a tear from a child s eye and the words & Don t go! are whistled in the wind. Although this is the
worst part about visiting my secret garden, it just means you are a little
closer to coming back through the glorious gates once more. There is just one
condition that this magical world remains our special secret.
