Learning to interpret the works of the masters can aid in creating your own style. A common difficulty with visual art is depicting something conjured in the artists head and accurately representing it on paper. Realising the image imagined. When considering an idea for creative writing the idea takes the form of words so transferring them into a medium in which it can be shared does not require creativity. However the process of painting or drawing is delivered generally with our hand, which has been trained through play to develop our fine motoring skills, growing up. As adults we practise and are taught to manoeuvre our tools for different effects. In short, the body, our control and the relationship our creativity has with the body is vital in the production of fine art. As with music, when learning to listen can improve ones playing, learning to see and interpret can help our visual score. Seeing and interpreting the works of others not just by looking but by doing.
