A lot of people like to quote and blindly say how they`ve wanted to do their subject since they were a child. I tend to find that hard to believe. The first thing I remember wanting to be was Michael Owen! Then it was a penguin.

I started to get into science in late primary school. I would question anything I didn`t understand and this thirst for knowledge still drives me today. After that I went through a phase of wanting to join the RAF as a pilot and this lasted with me from about yr 8 till the start of sixth form.

Physics had always been my favorite subject don`t get me wrong, but it was only now I started see a career in it. The topics I studied at A level really inspired me as it gave me a new insight into how things work, from particle physics to a capacitor, cosmology to imaging techniques, all of these things amazed me especially the items that we as the human race have made and now take for granted every day.

In my degree I`ve taken these studies further and to greater depths of understanding so I don`t only have the knowledge to help you pass an A level course but also to help you understand why something is the way t is and the theory behind it.

One thing I particularly love about being in the scientific community is to relate ideas to other people. I`m involved in an astronomy outreach program at my university and always love giving people new information and answering their questions.

This, of course, led me to tutoring and where I am now. If you share the same passion as me or just want to pass a maths or physics course then get in touch and I`ll be back to you soon!
