"Elena was my Russian tutor for about 2 years when I was doing my PhD and needed to learn both spoken Russian (for my 3 month trip to Russia) and specialist language skills for translation of Russian archive material. She is one of the kindest people I have ever met and couldn`t do enough to help me. We had varied lessons every week where we would have conversations in Russian and then grammar lessons and help with my PhD work. Even when I was in Russia Elena emailed me offering me any help I needed with translations of archive material I had found. When I returned she helped me translate some of the tricker material and we built upon my spoken Russian.
