A-Level Arabic is not widely offered by colleges however it is possible to study the subject independently. It is a highly interesting course although very specialised and is not widely required for university courses. Saying this, it is a great subject to have if students are thinking of working in the Middle East or are intending to go into the lucrative business of translating for Arab businesses. According to experts the A-Level course isn't overly difficult however it does require a lot of hours study time. Most of the students that choose to take the course also choose to take other languages, politics and business studies amongst other subjects.
