My name is Mary and I am a native Greek speaker. I am working as a philologist at primary and secondary education for the last 9 years. After completing my Bachelor degree in Philosophy, Pedagogy and Psychology, I took a Master of Education (M.Ed. with excellence) named: "Theory, Practice and Evaluation of the Educator`s Work", Major in "Educational Planning and Teaching", which widened my professional qualities. At the same time, I participated in the Professional Specialization Program in Special Education and Treatment, in order to effectively work with children who cope with dyslexia, AHDH, ect. These years of studying provided me with solid theoretical foundations on pedagogical curriculum design and allowed me to promote and apply innovative educational practices like development and application of programs, production of educational material, etc. in order to effectively come up to the demands of the teaching process. I am passionate about my work, versatile and open to a wide teaching group (children with learning difficulties, adults, international students ect).

Experience: Having a strong academic and professional background has provided me with valuable educational skills and deep insight into personalized instruction. Alongside with my studies I worked as a private tutor for the last 9 years and also as a secondary and primary teacher in two Greek private schools. Furthermore, I worked as a Special Educator at a speech therapy center. In all my works I applied plenty of innovative technics, motivational lesson plans, educational technology and material designed to cater for all learning styles and levels. I use certified diagnostic tools for Learning Difficulties assessment and I am expert in the creation of individualized remediation programs. Among others, I have also worked as a Remedial Teacher, at a Greek private school, supporting Non- Native Speakers of Greek language and creating individualized and flexible curriculum and material.
