Greek Lessons
A-Level Greek isn’t offered by every college but where it is offered it’s a highly popular subject. It helps to have GCSE Greek or something similar however it can be taken without any previous experience by students who are confident with languages. Greek is often taken along with other languages including English Language, French, Latin and Arabic but it can also be taken with subjects like history or classic civilisations. Admittedly Greek is a specialised subject and the majority of students take it with a particular career in mind. These can include things like translator, ancient Greek historian and museum curator.
