Feedback for our tutors in from previous students

"Very good teacher. Well recommend."

"I had a genuine phobia of maths, I had virtually no confidence and this was something Jenny spotted straight away. On my first lesson I immediately knew that Jenny was ‘the one’ for me. Jenny has multiple ways of explaining things, even the strangest of questions that I needed to know to understand the topic. The homework given was always specific to my needs and capability and always challenged me enough to push me that little bit more. Jenny never knocked my confidence, she always encouraged me. I can genuinely say i loved maths again after Jenny’s lessons. I so looked forward to my lessons, they were always structured even though most of the time I would bring my own queries and literally try to explain why trigonometry was so hard until my face went blue! (I love trig now!)Very quickly progress was seen and i started to preform much better in all aspects of maths. Every lesson with Jenny started with a recap which were vital for cementing the key equations and techniques. I got my grade seven in maths!!! This is because I had Jenny fully supporting me, full of positive words. Every maths test Jenny was eager to know how I felt, what questions I felt less confident on and from there she instantly knew what to do and how to tackle them. Jenny is the best tutor, I could not recommend her enough. Written by student of Jenny, Demica Doal"

"We found Catherine via Tutorhunt in November 2018. For our Granddaughter, who really enjoyed Maths but found some areas quite difficult to fully understand, (She was at the age that I found it difficult to teach the best methods to assist her anymore). We felt she would benefit from some private tuition. After finding Catherine and checking her CV. We knew that she would be right for our then year 7 Grandaughter. she has made such progress since 2018. And always looked forward to Visiting Catherine’s house for her weekly Maths lesson at the weekend, She has improved so much in her Class work and Exam scenarios at School. Recently receiving special commendations during these strange “Lockdown” times for many schoolchildren, Catherine has continued with our Grandaughter’s lessons during this time with the wonders of the internet and zoom etc. And our Grandaughter really benefits from that extra ( one to one) help during these strange time of virtual schooling. she will be coming up to year 10 this Summer and our Grandaughter and we would very much like to continue with Catherine’s help throughout her time at School. Personally we will be forever thankful to her, for helping her through her Maths concerns And I know she really enjoys it , never wanting to miss a lesson at the weekends and that’s saying something for a teenager that has other stuff on their minds too. Thank you Catherine. "

"Well what can i say, i will start by saying she is excellent. My daughter feared maths and her exam but since Jenni has provided her with tutoring not only has she now stopped fearing maths she enjoys it and is now excelling. Jenni is fast to return messages, she provides resources and past papers for homework, i cant recommend her enough. Brilliant."
 Feedback for Jenni
"Imogen is a great student and would make an excellent tutor. She is intelligent, innovative, hardworking and adaptable. She is a caring student and would have the right levels of empathy, patience and kindness to work with younger pupils. She would be an excellent addition to your team. Her Maths skills are particularly impressive but she has been predicted high grades in her other A Level subjects also. Do let me know if you need any further information but I would highly recommend Imogen."
