Current, Voltage & Resistance
Date : 28/08/2023
Current, Voltage Resistance can be a tricky topic to get you head around. During my educational journey I have consistently used real world analogies to help understand unimaginable concepts. I hope this one helps you with the fundamentals of electricity:
First we must think of the current as a river of tiny charged particles, electrons, flowing through a circuit.
Voltage is the force that propels these electrons, like being pushed by a waterfall.
As water flows down the river it encounters obstacles like rocks, slowing the flow of water and providing Resistance to the current (converting energy into heat).
