Current, Voltage & Resistance
A quick
Date : 28/08/2023
Current, voltage and resistance can be a tricky topic to get your mind around. During my educational journey I have used real world analogies to help understand these ideas. I hope this one helps you:
Think of current as a river of tiny charged particles, electrons, flowing through a circuit.
Voltage is the force that propels these electrons, like water being pushed by a waterfall.
However, in this river, there are obstacles.
Resistance acts like rocks and obstacles in the water, making the flow a bit harder.
Just as rocks in a river slow down the water, resistance slows down the flow of electrons, converting some energy into heat.
