Information about Matt
Fun and knowledgeable, I have been teaching in schools for over 8 years making physics accessible and fun to all pupils. Prior to this I taught at the University of Bristol while I was researching a PhD. I have performed real physics experiments at CERN and high magnetic field facilities in the USA and The Netherlands. I am an experienced examiner and question setter who is able to prepare students for examinations and I have significant experience of helping students prepare for university admissions tests for Oxford and Cambridge. I have also contributed to Physics content in the recent redesign of BBC Bitesize.
Availability: Evenings and Weekends. Weekdays over schools holidays.

Experience: I taught undergraduate practical laboratory classes at University of Bristol for four years and I am now teaching GCSE and A level Physics at a grammar school in Dorset. I have been tutoring for 8 years and have successfully helped students achieve excellent grades in GCSE and A level Maths and Physics. I have been a Head of Physics for 5 years. I am a senior exam marker, question setter and coursework moderator for a number of exam boards.
