Taiju

I am a fully qualified science teacher and Royal Society of Chemistry Scholar. I hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) from the Department for Education and a PGCE in Science from King’s College London, Faculty of Social Science & Public Policy, where I was commended as an Outstanding Trainee. The Royal Society of Chemistry awarded me a £29,000 Teacher Training Scholarship for outstanding performance.
My subject background is scientific, not generalist. I have an MSc in Regenerative Medicine (Distinction) from Queen Mary University of London, Centre for Genomics and Child Health, Blizard Institute, where I ranked 2nd in the cohort, and a BEng (Hons) in Chemical & Process Engineering from London South Bank University, completed on a full scholarship.
For more than 15 years I have taught and tutored in London grammar and independent schools, and online with families in the UK, the Middle East, Asia and Russia. I tutor GCSE Physics, Chemistry and Maths and A-Level and IB Chemistry on Zoom. Lessons follow the current specification and mark scheme. The point is a grade the student can defend in the exam, and a university application that matches it.
