Information about Yasmin

Hello!
I am 30 years old and currently working as a Restaurant Manager for a Mexican restaurant which I LOVE! However, after working in the professional world for 5 years, I got so busy I didn`t live my first passion enough....SPANISH.
i spent all of my Secondary education, Sixth Form and University studying Spanish.
I chose Spanish as a degree because I am passionate about the language, enjoy speaking it at all levels and enjoy all aspects of Spanish and Latin culture. I became fluent especially after spending five months in Cuba studying at the University of Havana. My grasp of the language was very strong before travelling because I have studied Spanish since I was 11 years old.
I live in South East London but am willing to travel to all parts of London.
I love Spanish so teaching it and inspiring others to love it as much as myself is a dream!
I am a bubbly and friendly person who would just like to impart some of my knowledge to someone who is willing to learn a new language.

Even though I chose Spanish as a degree path, it is important to note that I love languages of every variation and without them we would be lost! I know French very well and have a good grasp of Italian and Portuguese! Languages really are an invaluable skill to have at any level.

Availability: I work multi-shifts which change week on week for maximum availability, but have my rotas 1 month ready in advance to be able to plan ahead.

Willing to travel: 10 miles

Experience: My only job to date that relates to using my language skills was a post in Sydenham Girls` School as a Volunteer Spanish Teaching Assistant. I helped students of all ages at all levels.

My experience with Spanish is what I value most. Living and studying in Cuba strengthened my skills tenfold. As well as taking the core language classes for international students, I also enrolled in classes of Cuban Literature, Afro-Caribbean Studies and Linguistics. These are classes I took among the cuban students and all classes were in spanish.

I now work as an Assistant General Manager of a Mexican restaurant and employ spanish speakers which keeps me practising often.
