Hi there, I’m an experienced and well-trusted tutor with thousands of one-to-one lessons completed, on top of over a decade of teaching where I have designed and delivered maths and science courses at an independent school. I have a master`s degree in Astrophysics (UCL) and am very passionate about science.

My students seem to find me friendly and empathetic – over the years I have built up good long-standing relationships with their parents, with most of my work coming through recommendations.

My Approach:
These are things that I believe I can do well:
- Gauge the student’s understanding and adapt the lesson accordingly
- Use my experience to give honest feedback about progress
- Create a relaxed, friendly atmosphere free from pressure

These are the subjects I have extensive experience in:
- A-level Maths, Further Maths, Physics, Chemistry
- GCSE/IGCSE Maths, Sciences, Computer Science

Exam boards covered: AQA, Edexcel, OCR, Cambridge International and IB.

At the moment, I mainly focus on these qualifications, but if you have a particular requirement please get in touch, and I’ll let you know what experience I have.

Good to know:
- If the student and/or parent want to get to know me before deciding to commit to a first lesson then I`m happy to offer some of my time for free so we can chat.

- I always keep an up-to-date advanced DBS certificate (The latest one issued: Jan 2024) and can provide references if required.

- I have successfully tutored many students with special educational needs (SEN), particularly those with dyslexia. I also have experience in supporting students with more complex needs.
