Based in Meols, Wirral - I am a fully qualified German teacher and I have also taught French and Spanish to beginners, primary children and up to key stage 3. I have a degree in German, a PGCE and I taught for 5 years in secondary education. I took a career break to have my own family and I during this time I have tutored many students for GCSE and a few for A-level. For the past 12 years I have worked as a Learning Mentor at a local grammar school and so in addition to languages I am also able to offer revision and study skills sessions to prepare students for exams. I can offer life skills and resilience coaching for teenagers from 11-18 and I recently trained with to teach Mindfulness with the Mindfulness in Schools organisation. This is a very useful technique for young people to learn to help them manage their stress and emotions. I relate well to students of all ages.

Availability: I work part time as a learning mentor and have 3 children but I can work during the day on a Monday and will negotiate various slots during the evenings.
