I`m a GCSE, A-level and Degree level science tutor. I find every tutee has different goals, strengths and weaknesses and I enjoy adapting to their needs. The first part of my job is to get students excited about the subject; learning follows much more easily after that. I give a lot of real-life examples and draw connections between different branches of science, which provides a different perspective from classroom learning.

I have a background in research scientist, teaching at various levels and in science outreach/community learning offering private tuition. As well as having worked with numerous GCSE and A-level tutees, I have extensive experience in a number of universities and research institutes in undergraduate and postgraduate tuition.

I am quite happy to tutor undergraduate Biochemistry (or related subject) students approaching exams.

Having worked in a number of universities, I can offer advice on selecting a suitable course and place to study, for undergraduate and postgraduate courses and help with UCAS forms.

Availability: Weekday evenings and occasionally weekends

Experience: I tutor dozens of school students in sciences, covering OCR, AQA and Edexcel curricula. The students have attended a wide variety of schools across (so far) four counties.

I have extensive experience in training undergraduate and postgraduate science students in five countries. I have experience of lecturing, small group tutorials and one-to-one training of both undergraduate and postgraduate students.
