Information about Wendy
I am an experienced teacher of AS/A2 Psychology and I have taught at a Secondary school for 14 years and at an independent school for the past four years with excellent results at both. I have examined at A level A2, Jan & June for 17 years and this year the New A Level Specification. I have taught AQA specification A & B, WJEC,OCR and the last two years the New A Level specification (AQA). In addition I have tutored AQA A, new AQA specification and Edexcel. I have consistently excellent results and enjoy enabling students to perform to their maximum levels of ability.
I specialise in teaching the evaluative skills necessary to significantly improve both examination responses and examination grades at both AS and A2.
I enjoy seeing students become more confident and less stressed out as they master the necessary skills and subject knowledge.
I have taught and examined the new AQA syllabus for 2015-2017.

Experience: 14 years teaching in a secondary school + 3 years independent school + 17 Years examining AS and A2. I have tutored AS/A2 for 7 years and have enabled students to significantly improve their AS and A2 grades.
In the academic year 2010-2011 I tutored 3 students who improved:
From B to A
From E to C
From U to D (only narrowly missing the C grade)
In 2012-13 I tutored a student who went from B at AS grade to A* at A level.
In 2014 I tutored a student who got U at AS to a D grade at A2.
In 2015 I tutored a student who went from C at AS grade to a very high B grade at A2.
On average students improve between 1 and 2 grades depending on the amount of tuition they receive and their own motivation.
