I am an experienced Secondary School Science teacher and Tutor with a successful proven track record who can guarantee a student to reach his / her full potential. I am able to teach all Sciences across the secondary age range using various syllabuses including Exploring Science, OCR Gateway Science, Edexcel and AQA. I have experience in delivering the BTEC programme, Core Science, Additional Science and Separate Science curriculum.

I am a confident, enthusiastic and driven individual who`s teaching / tutoring methods will encourage the student to develop his/her self-confidence, and help him/her achieve the best results by focusing on his/her weakest points. My outgoing personality allows me to interact comfortably with patience and motivation, giving me the ideal chance to pass knowledge and experience but at the same time also injecting life and interest into difficult topic

Saturday and Sunday between 8.00am - 10.00pm

Experience: My tutoring approach is tailored to every individual student and is based around the common misconceptions students may encounter in Science. I use a variety of methods to teach and mentor each student which include reading and explaining subjects/topics they struggle with, asking questions to analyse whether my lessons are effective and if the student has made progress, probing the student to ensure they can explain the subject/topic/concepts back to me, collating and giving exams questions to complete and correct to ensure the student has a bank of knowledge ready for the exams. I also help students work on their revision and exam technique as it is essential to be able to apply the learnt knowledge in order to succeed in exams. I offer full assistance to all my students in and out of the set tutoring sessions and am available by phone and e-mail at their convenience. I am willing to travel to the tutees` location, as this enables a comfortable environment for the tutee to maximise learning in the comfort of their own homes.
