Experience: My interest in Teaching began after my advance level and I started to teach as volunteer teacher attached to a local School, during which, I was teaching maths and physics to advance level students. I have more than 10 years experience in teaching. I helped the students to work towards their advance level exams (AQA, OCR, Edexcel and IB).
I practice much less formal teaching which needs to know more about my students, their strength and weakness. First couple of hours I spend the time to know about my students by asking questions. Then I spend lot of time, energy and planning to prepare myself for effective teaching. I encourage the students to practice problem solving and critical thinking skill to arrive to a conclusion. I also provide notes, homework and past papers.

My son just started with Dr. Themo and he is quite happy about Dr. Themo teaching. He said Dr. Themo solved all the issue he had before and he is giving him new challenges to improve his knowledge in Maths.

He is a very effective tutor and has helped my daughter to achieve above and beyond her target at GCSE physics.
I highly recommend him.
