After working fulltime for 16 years in the FE sector I enjoyed private tuition so much that I decided to do it full-time. My approach to teaching/training is:
- Produce an individual learning plan (if appropriate) that highlights prior knowledge and skills/learning gap.
- learning is interactive and relates to workplace.
- Exam led approach (if appropriate)
- Inspire confidence

Although I am knowledgeable in all areas of accounting up to a high level. I have a long experience of teaching specialised areas such as Taxation and financial reporting.

Availability: Weekdays/evenings and weekends

Willing to travel: 10 miles

Experience: I have 22 years teaching and training experience delivering, assessing (NVQs) and preparing students of all ages and all levels for academic and vocational exams. Subjects are accounting and business GCSE, A Level, BTEC, HND, AAT, Accounting degree modules, ACCA and CIMA. I have been teaching privately since 2011. CIMA, Acca, Icaew, Iab, AAT, A Level, Degree (including masters)
I am also a Qualified assessor and have Examiner experience AQA and AAT.
