I am a qualified English Secondary school teacher. I have taught all year groups upto GCSE level and have tutored GCSE,IGCSE and primary school students.

I am an ESOL and EAL specialist and have also taught literacy lessons in an independent primary school, where I used the phonics method to teach English to younger pupils and tutored SATs students.

I have tutored KS1 & KS2 students in Maths, preparing them for their SATs and KS3 students taking entrance exams for private school admission.

Availability: SATs Tuition
This class is for Yr6 students, in the lesson we do the following:
Work through 2017 SATs papers
Spelling Punctuation and Grammar
Weekly spelling tests
Weekly homework
Exam technique



Students also need to bring the following equipment to class: A4 lined paper, A4 binder, a dictionary and a thesaurus.

The spaces in the SATs class at limited, if you would like your child to attend then please feel free to get in touch.

I am available during week days from 4.30 - 6.30pm and weekends.

For students who are resitting their GCSEs I can do daytime lessons.

GCSE students will need to print their own copies of exam papers to be used in class and bring their own copies of the books and plays they are studying.

During the holidays I am available during the day. If you would like to have lessons once every two weeks then that is possible.

Students come to me,lessons begin promptly at the time stated and students need to be picked up on time. If you would like to discuss your child`s progress then you would need to pick them up 5mins early so we can have that discussion.

I started tuition in February 2017 after struggling to do well in my English mock exams. I had a very low confidence in my writing and would feel very stressed out at my low English grade. From the first session i felt more reassured after we went through my past papers to see how i could improve. I was set homework that would really help me to revise over the texts and to learn things that my class at school were not being taught. When it came to my exams, i felt confident as i had been taught to a high standard which improved my grade from 3`s and 4`s to a 5 & 6 in 10 sessions.
