Hello, my name is Suzanna and I am a qualified teacher of secondary Spanish and French, with a degree in Hispanic Studies from King`s College London and a teacher training qualification from UCL`s Institute of Education.
I am available as a Spanish tutor at all levels up to, and including, degree level. Both my spoken and written Spanish is very good, as I have spent a considerable amount of time living, working and studying in Spanish speaking countries including Mexico and Bolivia. I am trained to teach Spanish to A Level, but I have also tutored adults, and French to GCSE. I have experience with both private tutoring and working in a classroom environment and enjoy making learning about language and culture interactive and personalised to each student.
I offer English tuition at all levels up to A Level and can offer help with various aspects of the subject. I am familiar with exam and coursework requirements and can help you improve the way you study. English is my native language and English literature and language are subjects I am very enthusiastic about: I got an A in English Literature at A Level and have helped teach English lessons.
Please get in touch if you have an questions or to arrange some sessions. I am flexible with my availability and am willing to travel or tutor in my own home. I hope that I can provide a fun and dynamic way of helping you learn and improving your grades!
I have a recent DBS certificate.
Availability: Generally evenings and weekends, but please enquire if you require a different time.
Willing to travel: 10 miles
Experience: I am a qualified teacher with over a year`s experience teaching Spanish and French in secondary classrooms. I have also privately tutored Spanish to adults and A Level students.Contact this Tutor
In 2015, I spent 2 months in Bolivia teaching human rights in children`s` centres to 4-16 year olds. During this time I planned and delivered sessions in Spanish with a small group of other teachers as well as translating between English and Spanish for my monolingual colleagues.
