Information about Suzanna
I am an enthusiastic and creative teacher with a passion for languages and the way in which they can enhance not only a students academic potential, but also their quality of life.
I achieved 3 As at A Level in Spanish, English Literature and Drama and Theatre Studies and then went on to study for a BA in Hispanic Studies at Kings College London. My time there included a year abroad at UNAM (Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico) where I was able to refine my spoken Spanish skills and gain a wider insight into Latin American culture. After graduating I also spent 3 months in Bolivia teaching Human Rights to children aged 6-16.
I am a qualified secondary languages teacher with a PGCE from UCLs Institute of Education and I have experience teaching Spanish and French at key stages 3, 4 and 5 in a school environment.
Other subjects I offer:
-English to A Level: I have taught English in schools in the UK and aboard and I have tutored students for English to A Level. I have a passion for language and literature and I`m comfortable with any aspect that you need help with.
-Maths to GCSE: I`ve worked in Maths classrooms in secondary schools and I have helped to write Maths online learning material. I like to make Maths engaging and relate the subject back to real world contexts.
-SEND- I have experience working with children with a range of special educational needs in schools and private tutoring.
Please get in touch if you have an questions or to arrange some sessions. I hope that I can provide a fun and dynamic way of helping you learn and improving your grades!
