Born, educated and currently living in Caerphilly County Borough, I worked for many years in design/development on the applied side of engineering for a number of companies. Projects ranging from sonar through to computer simulated testing of integrated circuits

As an approachable and articulate tutor with many years experience, I endeavour to maximise the students potential in a way that is stimulating and yet relevant to today’s requirements. I tutor GCSE Maths and A`Level at all levels. In addition, I can advise on revision material, and provide exam practice, hence preparing the student fully for what lays ahead.

My approach is based on building a students confidence, to help make learning an enjoyable and fulfilling process. Knowing what you know and building on this, are key elements in this development. The primary focus however, will still remain on passing exams.

Subjects include Pure Maths C1-C4, FP1-3 and Mechanics M1-3

Availability: Mon-Fri. afternoon and evening

Willing to travel: 10 miles

Experience: 6 plus years as a private Maths tutor together with a number of years as a free-lance IT trainer
