Sophie

My name is Sophie and I graduated two years ago with a first class honours in Natural Sciences BSc (biology, organic chemistry, pharmacology, maths). I am currently studying veterinary medicine at the University of Bristol.

I offer tuition in biology and chemistry for all ages up to A-level standard. The tuition takes place at my flat in Bristol. I am a friendly, patient and approachable person, and my tutoring sessions consist of the following:

-Explaining the areas that the student finds difficult
-Working through their class notes and trying out examination questions
-Helping with homework and coursework
-Examination and revision tips (as I am a student, these are fresh in my mind!)

I also offer public speaking and interview technique tuition, as I have successfully taken gold and silver grade exams in public speaking from the English Speaking Board and LAMDA.

Availability: I am available late afternoon/ evening most weekdays and weekends.

Willing to travel: Home Only

Experience: I have two years of tutoring experience.

Prior to this I have also had some experience of voluntary teaching in a local school in Clitheroe. I am often helping my younger siblings understand scientific concepts and aiding them in their homework.
