Information about Keith
I am a Physics graduate, a qualified teacher with 20 years experience teaching in independent and state secondary schools and at 6th form colleges teaching Physics at AS/A2 and GCSE Science. I have been an examiner for GCSE/AS/A2 Physics. Now retired from school/college teaching.
I have success with teaching and private tutoring scholars that need a little extra help: dyslexics, dyspraxics and ADHD students.
I can teach all three sciences and Maths to GCSE level but my main thing is Physics & Electronics to A2 level. I appreciate that with a little extra help, such that students can be successful in even a small way, they will gain confidence, enjoyment and ambition. Previously an AQA examiner for A level Physics.
I do face to face only. I have a current DRB.
Availability: Ordinarily I am free during school holidays as well as most Evenings. I charge £2 per mile travelled if I can come to you. Up to 5 miles. Face to face only.

Experience: 15 years teaching KS3/KS4 science and 20 years A level Physics. Previously 20 years in the electronics and computer hardware/networking industry.

Keith has been an excellent tutor for my son in Year 13 doing A level physics. Keith is very knowledgeable and face to face sessions have been so good for my son. Keith tailored each session to what my son needed and suggested things to do in preparation for the next session. He also asked my son about the current topics being studied in college and planned sessions to support this if needed. I would 100 percent recommend Keith as an A level physics tutor, my son is facing his A level with so much more confidence than he had in September. All thanks to Keith. We feel very fortunate to live in the local area for these face to face sessions.
