I tutor in a way that makes Maths accessible for all students with a real focus on understanding rather than recall. I have a friendly never give up attitude to tutoring and can help you achieve your potential. I can tailor lessons to you and what helps you best understand the content to keep you improving in maths. I have been teaching Secondary Mathematics for 14 years and tutoring for 23 years for students from 11 years upwards. I tutor in person and online so message me to arrange your first FREE LESSON.
Availability: Monday 4- 6pm
Tuesday 4- 8pm
Wednesday 4 - 5pm
Thursday 4pm - 8pm
Sunday 6pm - 8pm

Experience: Have been tutoring for 14 years and currently a full-time Secondary Maths Teacher. I have attended numerous professional development courses including problem solving, visualisation methods, proof and responsive teaching. I have been an exams marker so I know what the examiners are looking for and can help to gain all the marks needed. I keep up to date with curriculum changes and qualifications and will always find different ways to explain new ideas and engage my students to enjoy the progress they make in Mathematics.

Simon is helping our daughter with her Maths GCSE resits
She enjoys the sessions and the way in which he teaches
He is very clear in what needs to be worked on in order to achieve a pass and will give constructive feedback, and focus on the parts where there are gaps.
Our daughter can get easily distracted and Simon will let us know if she isn’t doing the expected amount of work, he is open and honest which is really useful from a parent point of view
Listening to him teaching her, he is patient and understanding, making sure she understands the point before moving on to the next area.
I would highly recommend
