Information about Shiran
I am a German native who was born and brought up in Hamburg. I moved to the UK in 2012 when I got married.
I had been tutoring for over 16 years (2000 - 2016, age rage 5 to 18) and took a break due to two little children, a full-time job and part-time studies at the university.
I had been tutoring children/teenagers in the following subjects: German, Spanish, Latin and Maths.
Tutoring has always been very satisfying for me; making an impact on someone`s growth, helping them to gain more knowledge and improve their skills are things that I truly enjoy.
I am a very positive and creative person who makes difficult things easier. Being a speaker of several languages and holding a degree in modern foreign languages, I know where the similarities and differences between German and English and Spanish are and what challenges language learners face.
Now that I have completed my degree, Ihave some free time to tutor again :)

Mrs Shiran is a kind and generous person who is helping me a lot to improve my German writing. She takes the time to explain in Deutsch und English some of the subtle complexities of German grammar. She challenges me to analyse the sentences I write so I get a better feel of the language and forces me to dig deep into my memory for the grammar rules. We conduct the lesson in German which helps me with my speaking and hearing. I believe I will steadily improve with her help, so that I can write German with no or only a few errors. I really look forward to my lessons as I can ask detailed questions on a 1 to 1 basis on the topics I need to understand better. If you want to improve your German, then I can highly recommend her. I think I am very lucky to have found her and look forward to working with her for some time. Alan

Shiran is a fantastic teacher, knows the subject 100%.
Helped my son achieve a B grade in GCSE from which I am delighted. She pushed him all the way and knew all his weaknesses etc.
If my other children study German I will definitely be contacting her again.
