I am a qualified Science teacher with over 25 years of experience.
I have a range of teaching styles and will cater for your individual learning style.
All the students that I have tutored have gained a pass grade in their exams. I have a good understanding of most of the exam board syllabuses e.g. OCR, Edexcel, AQA
I like my students to enjoy the tutoring session and feel that they are making progress and that their confidence is improving in the subject. This should be reflected in their test marks at school as well.
Availability: I am available during the day, evenings and weekends. Am happy to provide references.

Work at a local comprehensive school with mixed ability students.
I have worked alongside examiners in marking of GCSE papers and have made use of my subject knowledge in guiding my students in this area, so they write down relevant information in order to gain marks and achieve the best grade that they can.

Shah is a great science tutor. He is very knowledgeable in the subject. He has a good rapport with my daughter and is very supportive and patient. After every lesson, I can see my daughter’s confidence in the subject growing which is great to see. I would definitely recommend Shah.

Shah is truly a natural tutor and teacher. My daughter took lessons with Shah just a month before 2025 GCSES as a last resort. In the end my daughter used to get grade 6 in biology but in the recent exams she achieved a grade 9 (A*) all due to Shah`s emergency help. His resources are informative yet easy to understand making it easy to capture key information needed for the exams. He works along the specification and reinforces exam technique making it faultless to leave anything out. His organisation is a key element to my daughter`s successful grades making sure each lesson has a plan ready to go- no wasting time. Shah`s patience is another strong point as he`s willing to answer questions repeatedly. His simple explanations are perfect for biology as he doesn`t overcomplicate simple topics. Overall I strongly recommend Mr Shah as he is one of a kind.
