Information about Stephen
I am a very experienced (over 30 years) qualified teacher/examiner and can teach Maths, Physics and ICT to A-level and chemistry and science to GCSE. I have been a head of department in a top public school as well as been a teacher in many comprehensive schools. I have also lectured trainee teachers at a university.
I have written maths, chemistry and physics books for major UK publishers. In total I have written 90 books over the years.
I have a very good record at getting students excellent grades. I am a good motivator and encourage students to do well by giving plenty of work to do between lessons.
Availability: I have some limited availability in the evening and possibly sometimes during the day.

Experience: I have 30 years experience teaching in local schools and colleges and I have also trained teachers at a university.
My last teaching job was as a head of department at a well known independent school in Crosby.
I have written many text books for use in schools using my extensive subject and examining knowledge.

My son has been having online lessons with Stephen for the past few months covering both Chemistry and Physics in preparation for his upcoming GCSE Examinations. He has found the lessons engaging and enjoyable. Stephen is able to break down the content into sections which my son understands and is able to ask questions (something that he finds difficult to do in a secondary school environment). Focus is spent on past exam papers, how to answer the questions and what additional points my son should be thinking about.

Stephen has made our daughter feel very confident in her own abilities which has in turn really helped her to focus. He has a great deal of teaching experience alongside setting and writing exam papers. He has been a very good find and we are very happy.
