¡Hola! My name is Stewart and I work at the University of Strathclyde as a Student Recruitment Officer. Previously I worked a Spanish secondary school teacher in London. I have experience teaching both adults and children in the United Kingdom and in Spain. I studied Spanish and Catalan at the University of Glasgow. I am an enthusiastic and reliable tutor who endeavours to personalise the learning process for my tutees.
Availability: Weekday evenings and all day at the weekend.

Experience: I have over six years experience of providing tutoring in Spanish from beginner through to A-Level.
I worked for the three years in a state secondary school in Islington. Additionally I have also worked as an English teacher in Barcelona and also as a language assistant in Girona.

Our daughter, at the beginning of year 10, was predicted a D/E for her GCSE Spanish. The first assignment which Stewart worked on with her in December of year 10 (which was a writing module)achieved a high C. Her predicted grade at GCSE is now B and this has all come about within one academic year - she will start year 11 in September.
Stewart is a quiet and self contained professional who has worked with our daughter in a structured and encouraging way. Because of his input our daughter now feels much more confident which brings its own rewards.
Stewart is never late for the sessions and has attended each and every appointment without fail. I have no hesitation in recommending this highly effective, professional and courteous teacher.

Stewart has been tutoring my daughter for her forthcoming GCSE and she has found their lessons extremely helpful. She now feels certain of achieving an A and was previously expected to only achieve a C. Stewart is very likeable and patient and I will certainly be using him for my other daughter should she feel the need.
