I have 12 years experience in the Nuclear Industry and Radiation Protection after completing my degree in Physics from the University of Liverpool, and a masters in Radiation Protection from the University of Surrey.

I have a passion for both Maths and Science and try to convey this during my tutoring sessions.
I`m an active member of the Society for Radiological Protection and present an annual interactive science show to school kids and stands at the Manchester Science Festival and The Big Bang Fair.

Experience: Through my work in the Nuclear Industry I have worked extensively as a mentor at local schools helping students of all ages with maths and physics. I have tutored around the manchester area with a great track record and now based in Warrington. Last year I took on a variety of students, both from lower abilities wanting to improve, and higher abilities wanting to ensure top grades.

I know from past experience that good tutoring brings a balance of understanding of the subject matter and a good comprehension of past exam papers. One cannot exist without the other, so my approach to tutoring focuses on both these aspects, giving my students a wide range of knowledge to back up their "model exam answers" that will not just be forgotten (I hope!) once the exam is over. I also hope I can bring a bit of my passion and enthusiasm (some say total geekiness!) for the subject to my students.
