I am an experienced tutor with a degree in Chemical Engineering from Imperial College London, as well as an MSc and PhD. I have been teaching maths, physics, and chemistry since university, with over 30 years of experience and 3,000+ hours of tutoring at GCSE and A/AS Level. I hold a valid DBS certificate and provide patient, supportive, and structured lessons tailored to each student.

I help students prepare for AQA, Edexcel, and OCR GCSE and A-Level exams, focusing on building understanding, improving problem-solving skills, and mastering exam techniques. Lessons are guided by the student’s questions and areas of difficulty, ensuring they gain clarity and confidence in every topic.

I offer face-to-face tuition from my home in Hampton (near the open-air swimming pool) or online lessons via MS Teams. Online lessons are simple to set up, just as effective as in-person sessions, and students can record each session for revision. All notes and worked solutions from the lesson are provided for future reference.

Many of my students make significant improvements in understanding and exam results, often achieving higher grades than predicted. I focus on helping students overcome challenges, build confidence, and enjoy learning, even in topics they previously found difficult.
