Happy to help with GCSEs if your mocks grades haven`t come up to your expectations! I have been successfully tutoring English Literature at GCSE and AS/A2 for several years. I also tutor Philosophy and Sociolgy AS/A2 and have tutored at local colleges during Easter revision. I have an excellent reputation, my tutees usually attain A or A star . I hold a current CRB check. Happy to travel or tutor at your house. I am a Cambridge University, fully trained teacher. 2013 was yet another successful year for my tutees! Those that had low predictions gained B`s and the A-graders leapt to an A star . Hope to undertake lots more tutoring in 2014 or in a/w 2013.

Availability: I prefer to travel to you or can provide sessions in Cambridge. I am semi-retired and can provide daytime sessions.
Although this site specifies groups of two to three students at one time I am ONLY available for one-to-one tutorials.

Experience: 10 years of Nat Curr. teaching/FE & AS/A2 level lecturing. I worked for the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority as a Qualification Accreditation Manager for 5 years, this regulatory authority used to oversee the Nat. Curr and managed 300 awarding bodies so I have a lot of insight regarding qualifications and examining bodies.I currently privately tutor students from Public schools local Secondary schools & 6th form colleges. I have current knowledge of AQA OCR, Edexcel and WJEC specifications for Philosophy Eng Lit/Lang AS/A2 & GCSE. I have tutored 3 A level Philosophy & 4 A level Eng lit plus 5 GCSE students successfully this year. I have helped students gain scholarships to public schools and to University placements by helping with their letters of application. I am passionate about what I do to help my students fulfil their potential and work many hours researching and preparing outside of the paid tutorial time.
