I am now in my fifteen year as a secondary teacher and I have decided I wanted to expand my passion for teaching by moving into private tutoring.
Although I have spent the majority of my teaching career in secondary, I have been lucky enough to teach all ages, therefore enabling me to tailor my tutoring to all ages and abilities.
I can also teach piano from beginner to Grade 5, I hold a piano Grade 7 qualification. Whether you require support in preparation for 11+, GCSE Language and Literature , I am here to help!

Availability: Saturday mornings from 10:30-2:30pm

I am available for one-to-one tuition as well as tuition for small groups.
I am available during term time (Saturday only) and during school holidays.
I can teach at your home or in local libraries.
I am happy to teach small groups of no more than 8 students on Saturdays.

Willing to travel: 5 miles

Experience: I have specialised in Special Needs (SENCo) throughout my time in schools and understand the challenges that some parents face with getting their children to enjoy and want to progress with their reading and writing. Alongside being a SENCo, I have spent years teaching English to KS3 and KS4 students. I am confident in providing your child with the extra support they need for both key stages testing or just a little extra support.
