Information about Rafia
I am extremely organised and patient so that I can deliver the specific lesson plans of all my students. My well developed sense of humour is part due to my exposure to a variety of people. I feel that I have a good all round personality able to lead and yet to be a good listener.
I can assimilate and analyse information, concepts and ideas quickly and accurately and reflect often complex subjects, into an easy to understand picture for students.
I am accustomed to dealing with people involved in stressful situations with confidence and courtesy through my teaching and other work experience.
I have had a good set of results again at both gcse and A level with students attaining grades A and B allowing them to secure places on medicine, pharmacy and biochemistry in particular.
I prefer to teach in my own house ( and would reduce my charge for this) So that I have all of the resources I need to ensure an effective lesson. I take my lead from students allowing them to set the pace of the lesson thus catering for all abilities, however at times I do push pupils to meet realistic targets, from my teaching experience an effective approach. I follow closely to the relevant schemes of work. I am able to cover all the available specifications and have a resource bank of past papers. I always plan my lesson well in advance, and will have all the resources I need ready for the lesson. For pupils who wish to progress from G.C.S.E to A levels with me I would offer a considerable discount .

Feedback For Rafia (2)
Currently working well. My daughter values the lessons and is already showing signs of improvement and better grades
Tutors Response :
Pleasure to teach leela
Hopefully she can achieve her target grades
Rude, unprofessional and unreliable
Tutors Response :
I am sorry you felt need to leave a poor feedback since your son left on a positive note and said he found lesson very beneficial
I was not happy the way you felt you could bully me
I hope for sake of your son you do mot do that to future female tutors
My daughters (Years 8 and 10) have recently started tuition with Rafia and we are very pleased with her service. She was able to make a great assessment of their abilities in the first maths lesson and has worked hard to improve their understanding and confidence in the subject. She has an excellent approach and takes time to explain concepts.
During the last summer holidays, both girls sat entry tests to transfer from their school into another private school and the tutoring they got from Rafia boosted their confidence and performance in the tests, in which they were both successful. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending her.
Tutors Response :
