I specialise in A Level Physics primarily AQA, but also all other Boards. I teach all Boards for A Level Maths. At GCSE, and iGCSE I teach maths, further maths and physics. I also assist A Level students with entrance tests such as the Engineering Test for Cambridge etc. I have been a Maths and Physics tutor for about 20 years. I focus on fundamental topics which students often find difficult and tailor this to my predictions of question types that will appear in the examinations. I adapt my style to the requirements of each student, but tend to make use of past exam papers. I find this is a very effective technique and produces very good results. In terms of support, I may set work to be done during the week and I respond to questions at any time via text/WhatsApp etc. I have degrees in Pure Mathematics and Engineering Physics.

Availability: Mainly available during the afternoons/evenings, but also some weekends.

Experience: My experience ranges from 11+ and KS2 up to degree level engineering and maths. I specialise in the A Level Physics specifications. I also cover much of the maths content of various HNC and HND courses in civil and electrical engineering etc. I have worked as a college lecturer and held various managerial positions in industry involving the solution of complex engineering and mathematical problems. I am currently semi-retired and also take on occasional consultancy work in engineering and IT.
