Information about Thomas
During my teaching career, I have taught students with a range of abilities. I have taught, Science, Chemistry, Physics and Biology to GCSE level and Biology to A Level.
I retired as a Headteacher of a secondary school 7 years ago. I know how tutors can play an important part in helping students to achieve examination success. Science is an important subject and helps young people learn about modern living.
Availability: Monday to Thursday
9am - 7pm
Willing to travel: 20 miles
Experience: 39years of teaching experience beginning as a KS3 and KS4 Science teacher. Before also teaching at KS5. I have been Head of a Science Department before moving into Senior Management at a number of secondary schools. I was Headteacher of a large secondary school before retiring 7 years ago.

Thomas is a very good tutor for all 3 sciences and helped my daughter develop her knowledge. As well as this, he provided plentiful resources that tested her knowledge and developed her exam techniques. Thank you very much and appreciate all your help and support Thomas :).

Thomas tutored my son for his GCSE`s from around Christmas 2018 until he took them in June 2019. He covered Biology, Chemistry and Physics, he improved my sons confidence and knowledge on the subjects and helped him achieve excellent results. My son would not hesitate to recommend Thomas.

Mr Percy is an outstanding Tutor my daughter was struggling with he A Level Biology Salters Nuffield and was on a U in her xmas mocks. Mr Percy was brilliant he restored her confidence, re-visited and explained in different ways areas of the syllabus she was unsure of and her final grade was a C (extra pressure as she needed a C for Paramedic Science) with thanks to Mr Percy she has achieved her goal of Uni I would not hesitate to recommend Mr Percy as a tutor.
