I am a hardworking, well-organised teacher who enjoys teaching and is very committed to raising standards. I am able to prioritise my work, share knowledge and experiences with colleagues and I am a proven team player. I am of the view that Mathematics teaching should be tailored to meet the needs and abilities of pupils, thus differentiation is an integral part of my lessons. Lessons should be enjoyable, relevant and accessible so that all pupils are able to reason out processes, make connections and relate what they are learning to the world outside the classroom.

Willing to adopt to changes, dedicated and cooperative are qualities that best describe myself.I relate well with people from different ethnic backgrounds and I am willing `to go the extra mile` to ensure that pupils achieve the best results possible.

Strategies used - probing questions, interactive, engaging activities that reinforce concepts, allowing. pupils to explain their thought processes (oral and written), going through past paper questions and pointing out common mistakes. Favourite quote - `dont plan to fail` or `fail to plan` for your exams.Preparation is the key to success.
