I am a fully qualified History and Humanities tutor with wide experience gained from teaching in the community.My area of expertise covers other disciplines such as Politics, Social Sciences, Philosophy and Religious Education.

I graduated from the Open University in 2008 with a 2-1 in Medieval to Modern European History and completed my PGCE at New College Durham in May 2012.

Having worked as a local history guided walk leader for Durham County Council I thrive on bringing history to life through contact with everyday things around us.I am currently registered with Durham County Council as a local historian.

I am registered with the Institute for Learning and take my professional commitments seriously.

I am a highly organised and dedicated professional who approaches the task in hand with enthusiasm and consideration for others. Committed and self-sufficient I always treat my commitments with the seriousness that they deserve. Knowledgeable, open minded and with good research skills I am an excellent net-worker and utilize all available means to complete the task at hand.
