A PhD and degree in Chemistry, I am an experienced school teacher and Senior Leader with a previous career in the pharmaceutical industry. Senior Examiner for UK and international examination boards and former Director of Science, I have experience of the AQA, Edexcel, OCR and Cambridge International specifications.
A published author of textbooks and revision guides for Oxford University Press, I have also written online content for Kerboodle to support learners studying for AQA and OCR.
Availability: Weekends and weekday late afternoons/evenings

Nicholas is an excellent Chemistry teacher with a deep understanding of the subject. He explains concepts thoroughly and in a way that makes them easier to understand. He regularly checks my daughter’s understanding by asking questions and ensures she has grasped the material before moving on to the next topic, which we really appreciate. We highly recommend him as a tutor.

Nicholas is an excellent tutor, he explains the content very well, making sure my son understands it by asking questions and making the lessons interactive. He also has lots of resources for past paper questions, which help to really consolidate understanding.
