Information about Norman
Personal Descri ption:
I have an honours degree in civil engineering and my first career was an engineer then project manager in that field, working on many prestigous projects.
I discovered a love for teaching from voluntary work at a school in Guildford, trained at the Institute of Education and was awarded PGCE.
If learning isn`t engaging and enjoyable it isn`t effective!
Tutoring Approach:
Einstein believed that the truth is simple and straightforward. If it can`t be explained to the barmaid down the pub then its too complicated to be true. Once the principle is grasped there`s no limit to where you can go, or how far or in which direction. And the journey of enquiry itself becomes enjoyable.
The training the mind receives in science makes it more effective in other areas (and vice versa).
And if you want to be effective in the world you need a well trained mind!
