I am a qualified science teacher and successful A-level and GCSE tutor with over 12 years experience. I have a degree, and masters degree in Chemistry, and I have researched new instrumental analytical techniques at university and in Research & Development in industry. I tutor online.

I have always been fascinated with science.

By explaining the theory clearly and giving my students plenty of practice questions where they can demonstrate and apply their knowledge and understanding of the work, my students increase in confidence in the subject and in themselves. My approach is friendly and amenable, and by taking an interest in their progress, I am constantly assessing my students’ skills and abilities.

All my students achieve A, A*, A** grades, and go on to top universities to study medicine or the medical sciences.

Availability: I am available from Monday to Friday during the morning, afternoon and evening, and on Saturday and Sunday mornings.

Experience: I have more than twelve years experience as a Science and Maths Tutor. I am a qualified science teacher, having taught in the secondary schools for a number of years. My work in schools gives me contact with the latest curriculum and exam board specifications. In addition, I have invaluable experience gained from doing research in analytical chemistry at university and in industry. I provide my students with material to explain the topics and also continually assess their progress in developing the necessary study skills and their ability to answer exam questions, and develop exam technique. Many of my students want to study medicine, veterinary science, or dentistry at university, and I am so glad to help them achieve the necessary high grades.
