Information about Nathalie
I have been teaching French for the last fifteen years from complete beginners to advanced. People describe me as enthusiastic, skilled, engaging and reliable.
The objective is to make you feel confident in French. If you really want to learn, one-to-one tuitions are the most efficient solution.
Just a few lessons and you will make good progress. I will adapt according to your needs and objectives.
I organise a game afternoon at my house once a month, playing Carcassone or Les Aventuriers du Rail. This is a relax and fun afternoon to practice chatting in French..
Children may use puppets, role play, art and craft for active learning. All the tuitions and classes are tailor-made in order to maximise the learning .
Availability: I am available every day 9.00 am to 3.00 pm with a few slots after 3.00pm.
I offer a free 30 min trial tuition or an hour-long trial session for £11.
Willing to travel: Home Only
Experience: I have been teaching 17 years (starting in 2003) , including home-educated children, senior and business people.

Not sure what happened to our previous review but will try again with the following
When we met Nathalie she was able to engage with the three of us, enabling our teenage daughter to participate when she felt able. The trial lesson went well so Nathalie commenced tutoring our daughter, replacing the previous French teacher who had moved on due to personal circumstances. With our daughter being home-schooled, Nathalie was teaching her the whole French GCSE syllabus.
Despite little or no experience of teaching someone with Aspergers / PDA before, Nathalie was creative in finding ways around many of the issues that had arisen. Nathalie had devised a method for teaching our daughter French which is far more suitable than the usual, somewhat disjointed, methods and these worked well. They included grouping things logically including related vocabulary & grammar, and not delaying studying grammar until the vocab had been covered. Nathalie accepted the limitations such as our daughter being unable to do any work outside of her lessons. She appreciated the need to be cautious and to try to avoid undermining her relationship with our daughter, although our daughter is expert at masking & hiding her true feelings. Nathalie clearly enjoys teaching and wishes to enable pupils to reach their potential academically, whether they are intelligent & quick to learn (like our daughter), or struggling with even the basics, or somewhere in-between.
We have now had to change French tutors again but that is due to our daughters issues and needs as an SEN pupil.
We wish her well in her future teaching work.
