I am a native English speaker and an experienced and professional EFL/ESL/EAL teacher.

My speciality is teaching English as a Foreign Language / English as a Second Language / English as an Additional Language.

I have experience working with children as young as 3, up to adult learners, and with all levels from Beginners to Advanced and Proficiency.

I have worked in several companies, covering various industries, teaching Business English to high level professionals, executives and CEOs who require assistance with the language in order to progress in their careers.

I prepare students for FCE, IELTS and the Cambridge exam, as well as the Life in the UK test. I have very high success rates with people sitting the B1/B2 and C1/C2 exams.

In addition, I proofread all types of work from essays and dissertations to drafts of presentations and novels. For this I charge £10 per 1,000 words.

Experience: Since finishing my English Language & Literature degree I have worked as a private English tutor as well as a full-time English Language Teacher. I recently worked for 2 years in Spain where I was teaching English as a Foreign Language for 45 hours a week.

I now run an English tuition company from my home in Dunstable alongside working at the Centre for English as a Foreign Language at the University of Bedfordshire.

I also teach via Skype / Zoom for those students who are too far away to attend in person.

I have been proofreading for 20+ years, and do this alongside my teaching work.
